How we ask for consent
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject the optional ones, or pick categories individually. Nothing optional stores anything on your device until you choose. If we switch on Google’s tools, Google’s tag manager loads for every visitor but keeps its analytics and advertising tags in a restricted, cookieless mode until you consent. You can change your mind at any time via (also in the site footer), and we keep a record of the choice you made.
Each table below lists the cookie or storage name, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts. Durations for third-party cookies are those the provider publishes and can change.

Functional (consent required)
We do not currently set any functional cookies.
Analytics (consent required)
With your consent we record the pages and products you look at, and what goes in your basket, in our own database under the random ID in sa_vid. We use it to understand how the site is used and which visits lead to orders. It is not shared with any other company.
Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity are listed because we may use them. They are switched off at present, and set no cookies until we switch them on and you consent. Clarity records page interactions such as clicks and scrolling.

Advertising (consent required)
These measure whether our adverts brought you here and help tailor them. When you arrive from one of our adverts, the link carries an ID from the advertising platform (such as Google’s gclid); with your consent we keep it with our record of your visit. The Google, Meta and Microsoft tools below are switched off at present. After an order, Google Customer Reviews may also offer you a short survey about it. None of these set cookies until you consent.
