The AUVA Equipment Isolator synergizes two distinct vibration-absorbing technologies: AUVA and CSA, working together in perfect tandem to achieve unparalleled Isolation performance. The rigid machined aluminium shell of the AUVA EQ is designed to sit underneath the piece of Hi-Fi equipment in direct contact with the case. The silicone absorber sits on the hi-fi shelf or rack. As such, the case of the Hi-Fi equipment is directly coupled with the AUVA chamber of the EQ but de-couple from the Hi-Fi shelf via the CSA suspension.
The Custom Silicone Absorber is specifically formulated to absorb high levels of external vibration including room reflections and reverberation that can be transmitted up through HiFi racks. The CSA is height adjustable and comes in 3 versions to work optimally with different weights of equipment:
Optimal load (per foot)
- CSA 1: 0-4kg, (0-9lbs)
- CSA 2: 4-10kg (9-22lbs)
- CSA 3: 10-15kg (22-33lbs)
All weights are per isolator, divide the weight of your HiFi by the number of isolators you will be using to ascertain which CSA insert you will require. For example, a 15kg amp using 3 Isolators would be 15/3 = 5kg (CSA 2).

"What these petite stunners do there feels far too substantial for the outlay involved, and that, to me, is the best thing about them.
Considering how the Auva EQ behaves under electronics, and how effective it is in that role, the asking sum feels almost like a misprint. What these petite stunners do there feels far too substantial for the outlay involved, and that, to me, is the best thing about them.
While evaluating these, I found myself returning often to IDLES’ “Dancer”, and when the chorus goes “Collide us while we work it out”, I couldn’t help but picture their internal particles atop a silicone bed taking it personally and doing exactly that—quietly, relentlessly, and very much to our benefit."

"With the EQs in place, the image deepened considerably. Paul Chambers's bass moved to a specific position in space. Bill Evans's piano gained a rightward placement that the recording clearly intended but that had previously been somewhat vague."

"I placed a set of AUVA EQs under the Laiv Harmony DAC and immediately noticed the sound became cleaner and clearer—without tipping into sharpness or excessive analysis. The background felt darker and quieter, with tones that were more focused, less diffuse, and arranged in a deeper, more three-dimensional space. Yet everything remained natural and musically engaging.”
"The spatial representation of the music becomes more tangible and natural. The more realistic, more concrete representation of the virtual stage seems to me to be the key point of the AUVA EQ."
"The improvements in sound include, on the one hand, the slightly higher resolution in the mid and especially the high frequency band, and, on the other hand - and this is the most important thing - the spatial representation of the music becomes more tangible and natural. The more realistic, more concrete representation of the virtual stage seems to me to be the key point of the Auva EQ. The precision and plasticity of the representation of individual sounds increases and the stage space becomes larger overall: the Auva EQ simply creates more space on the stage for a clean front-back staggering of the musical actors. In fact, they move further back and at the same time a little step forward - the stage therefore gains in depth, not so much in width.
I can't see any side effects, in the worst case it's useless because your component is resistant to resonance dissipation and decoupling efforts. It can happen, of course. But in this case you can simply send the Auva EQ back, the 30-day money-back guarantee is aggressively advertised by the British. But I suspect that this will remain the exception, because even with high-quality components there is often still untapped potential when it comes to setup. Just try it out. In any case, I kept three Auva EQ sets straight away."

"The Stack Audio AUVA EQ Isolators are a game changer. They gave me the perfect balance of Isolation and Sound performance".
"With the feet, the Stereo image was fixed, locked straight ahead."
"Well, even after a couple of seconds, I could hear that it was winning that fight because what hit me immediately was how organised the music sounded with the AUVA EQ feet in place. The stereo image itself was the big deal here. Without the feet, the stereo image wandered all over the place. Then, the image itself was fuzzy and indistinct. With the feet, that stereo image was fixed, locked straight ahead."
Bass sounded wider with the feet added. There was a cavernous sound at the bottom end now while a crazy, freak-out Hammond organ on the left channel no had more space to perform and thus occupied more room in the mix. Vocal harmonies sounded more like a group of voices rather than a single block of noise while the rhythm guitar offered a more complex response now.”

"With the EQs in place, there was a percussive thump to the leading edge of the drumbeat that was lessened when the EQs were removed. Also, with EQs, the drumbeat held its own behind the bass. Without EQs, it seemed to hide in the bass guitar’s shadow."
"I like to think of myself as a “real world” HiFi reviewer. I have two HiFi systems in my home in rooms that are used as communal living spaces by my family rather than as dedicated listening rooms. While I strive for my HiFi systems to sound their best, this needs to be done in a way that minimises the physical or aesthetic impact on these spaces so acoustic treatments like bass traps or absorption/diffraction panels are not an option.
Last year I had the opportunity to review the AUVA loudspeaker isolation pucks from Stack Audio. These fitted discreetly below my speakers and made a hugely positive difference when tried in each system; a win-win as far as I was concerned. As anyone with an interest in HiFi will be aware, a degree of scepticism exists when it comes to the audible benefits arising from HiFi accessories; following my review of the AUVAs, I read several comments about “confirmation bias” (basically only hearing an improvement because I expected to do so rather than any real improvement having occurred). All I can say is that the AUVAs remain an integral part of my main system a year later and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon so when the opportunity arose to give Stack Audio’s AUVA EQ equipment isolators a try, I was keen to see if they would be as effective as the speaker isolators.
Before we move on to the EQs, it may be helpful just to recap a little on the AUVA speaker isolators and how they work as the equipment isolators follow the same philosophy. The AUVA speaker isolators were designed to firstly provide the speakers with a firm footing by coupling them firmly to the floor and secondly isolate the speakers from vibrations by absorption. This was achieved primarily by the use of a patent-pending technology involving particles of material, including tungsten, to effectively kill vibration in its tracks and convert it to heat, both removing vibration from the speaker cabinets and protecting the speakers from external vibration transmitted through the floor. As mentioned above, the EQ equipment isolators use a similar, if slightly simplified, approach.
UNBOXING AND BUILD QUALITY
In my review of the AUVA speaker isolators I remarked upon the quality of the packaging and, unsurprisingly, the EQs are presented within a similar box which once again adds to the feeling that this is a quality product and not just an off-the-shelf accessory. Foam inserts within the box ensure that should you need to store the EQs for any length of time they will be free from damage.Having experience with a range of Stack Audio products including their LP12 turntable modifications, Link II streamer and of course the AUVA speaker isolators, I had high expectations around build quality and the EQs did not disappoint in this regard. The EQs are manufactured with the same attention to quality as the AUVAs. Like the AUVAs, the EQs are manufactured from aluminium and use the same absorption material as their bigger siblings. Whereas the AUVAs contain this material within several internal “cells”, the EQs only use one chamber, I expect this is to reduce manufacturing costs. As with the AUVAs, if you give the EQs a shake, you can hear the absorption material moving inside.
Another difference in the EQs is the use of what Stack has called a custom Silicone Absorber, or CSA in the base of the EQ. The CSA secures the EQ to the equipment shelf and forms a second level of isolation. The CSA insert is height adjustable and comes in three versions to best suit the weight of the equipment they will be sited under. Guidance on which type of CSA to order is helpfully explained on the Stack Audio website when making your purchase.
Stack Audio recommend that the equipment chassis sits directly on the EQs rather than any existing feet being placed on the EQs so I followed this advice. I had been supplied with four EQs with level 1 CSVs. This would be suitable for a load of up 16kg. For the duration of this review, I used a Pathos Classic One Mkii integrated amplifier which weighs in at 13kg so four EQs with level 1 CSVs were probably just about right. The EQs can be purchased individually or in sets of three or four so for lighter loads, three would suffice. For heavier loads, you have the choice of using either three, four or more with higher-level CSVs. If this seems a bit complicated, it isn’t really and the Stack Audio website will sort out any worries you might have over what you would need to order.
With the four EQs in place, it was time to start listening. I initially picked a selection of tracks that I had either been listening to a lot recently or that I knew really well from repeated playing over many years. Also, to assure myself (if not anyone else) that I wasn’t suffering from confirmation bias I took a lot longer with the EQs both in and out of the system than I normally would before writing up my review.
All of this extended listening allows me to come to the point fairly quickly: if another HiFi manufacturer had not already nabbed the strap line Simply Better then it would be perfectly apt for the EQs; time and again I took them out from under the Pathos and then after a while put them back in again. Each time the music sounded better with the EQs in the system than when they were not.
“Fair enough” I hear you say “but can you give us some examples?” I thought you would never ask. Near the beginning of the title track of Leonard Cohen’s You Want It Darker there is a simple drumbeat overlaid with a bass guitar. With the EQs in place, there was a percussive thump to the leading edge of the drumbeat that was lessened when the EQs were removed. Also, with EQs, the drumbeat held its own behind the bass. Without EQs, it seemed to hide in the bass guitar’s shadow. This, of course, is just a small detail from a song which features a male choir and a huge, deep close- mic’d vocal from Cohen. Taken overall, the separation between the instruments (drumbeats and bass), choir, and Cohen’s vocals (quite obviously recorded in a different acoustic space) were more evident and the whole thing just sounded better.
June Tabor’s Airs and Graces album includes a close-mic’d a cappella version of And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. Without the EQs in place, it is possible to hear the physical actions of Tabor forming the words as she sings the song; the tapping of tongue against teeth on the T sounds and the plosive pops of breath on the Ps, not to mention saliva being swallowed between lines. With the EQs in place, this is all so much more obvious, to a distracting extent perhaps but it does demonstrate quite viscerally the effect that the EQs are having.
If Leonard Cohen or June Tabor are not your thing, other music is available. Dubbelstandart’s Chrome Optimism takes Jean Michele Jarre’s Oxygène Part IV and dubs it off into deepest space while Lee Scratch Perry freestyles on top, offering the opinion that “Heaven is very, very high”. As was he, I imagine, when he recorded it. As well as deepening the soundstage on this track, the EQs tightened the bass making it easier to discern individual notes without losing any of the seismic power and depth.
During the period of the review, I kept wondering what would happen if I put the EQs under my Stack-modified LP12 turntable. The results were not subtle. The bass frequencies were dramatically reduced, leaving tracks bereft of weight and presence. On a positive note, the piano on Song of Bernadette from Jennifer Warnes’ Famous Blue Raincoat actually sounded more real and “in the room” than before but at the expense of everything else. If nothing else though, this experiment proved that the EQs made a difference; a nail in the coffin of expectation bias.
QUIBBLES
I have thought long and hard about this but I honestly can’t find anything to quibble about with this product and I will explain why below.
CONCLUSION
The EQs are an audio accessory. In a perfect world, they would be unnecessary because the audio products we spend our money on should deliver optimal performance without any need to resort to tweaks, right? Experience tells us otherwise though and cables and other accessories carefully matched to a system can offer a series of marginal gains which collectively make the system sound better. The improvements offered by the EQs may not be an alternative to an upgraded amplifier or source but they are clearly evident and these products punch way above their price point. If you have a HiFi system that you are happy with but wonder if adding isolation might make an improvement then I recommend checking the Stack Audio EQs out. Things might just get even better. If they don’t, Stack Audio offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. What have you got to lose?

"If you want to get a better idea of what the components in your system are capable of, I suggest you give these a try"
Stack Audio Auva EQ isolators
As a long time fan of isolation proper it’s gratifying to see so many products on the market that are genuinely trying to stop the transmission of vibration into audio components. For far too long we were told that spikes were isolators whereas in fact they are the opposite, a conduit for transmitting vibration into and out of components. If you think about it, a spike is a fancy nail, when you nail a speaker to the floor the energy in the cabinet goes into the floor and this energy is transferred to all the other things sitting on the floor, not least the other loudspeaker. Max Townshend understood this better than most and developed numerous isolation devices that broke this connection, devices that actually isolated components and speakers from whatever they were sitting on. Stack Audio have also grasped this fundamental fact and launched their Auva range at the beginning of last year with speaker isolators including the Auva 70.More recently Stack unveiled the Auva EQ feet for component isolation, these are sold in sets of three or four and combine two technologies in an effort to create an energy barrier. The first, Auva, is what they call particle impact damping technology, and describe as “throwing a ball into soft sand –the sand absorbs the energy from the ball, preventing it bouncing.” Essentially it absorbs energy rather than transmitting it. The second part of the Auva EQ is a silicone rubber suspension that supports the machined aluminium shell and this provides
The Auva EQs are 50mm in diameter and 28mm high with a black anodised finish and are available in three weight ratings, these range from under 4 kg per isolator up to a maximum of 15 kg. You divide the weight of your component by the amount of feet required to establish which version to get, so a 20 kg amplifier would theoretically require three CSA 2 (4-10kg) isolators. I asked Theo Stack about whether three or four feet is optimal and he said “It is not as simple as recommending three vs four, it is usually up to the weight distribution of the hi-fi. If it comes with three stock feet, we would usually opt for three, however, if has four stock feet, we would recommend using four to align with the manufacturers design. Equipment such as amps often have a large amount of their weight on a certain side, if there is only one EQ on this side, it may struggle with the additional weight applied.”
You place three or four Auva EQs under a component such as an amplifier or DAC with the rubber on the supporting surface and the metal top of the EQ under the component feet, if you have sufficient EQs of course. Max Townshend’s mentor in this area was Professor Jack Dinsdale (inventor of the Rock turntable), he had a ‘law of more stuff’ that went something like: the more stuff you put between a source of vibration and the device requiring isolation, the less will get through.
Sound quality
Stack provided three Auva EQs for me to experiment with so in all but one case the metal caps were supporting the chassis rather than the feet of the components being auditioned. The first piece I chose was a Melco N10 operating as a server and streamer, effectively providing the source for the digital system. This is a two piece device and I put the Auva EQs underneath the transport rather than the power supply. The effect was very positive with an increase in detail resolution that was audible as extra reverb and greater clarity of quiet sounds. This has the effect of filling in the gaps between the fundamentals, of rounding out acoustic instruments including voices, and making the presentation more vivid and realistic. The N10 contains a spinning disc drive which may make it more sensitive to vibration than solid state alternatives, but it’s usually the quartz crystal clock that is intrinsic to the process of digital streaming that is in the greatest need of a mechanically quiet environment.Putting the Auva EQ feet underneath an Auralic Vega G2.2 DAC instead of the four sprung feet that it usually sits on proved to be worthwhile as well. The springs on this weighty component are quite stiff and do not compress very much under the 9.3kg spread across them, I suspect that the Auva EQs are more compliant (softer) because the sound opened up quite dramatically when they were used. The sound became more spacious which allowed female vocals to sound more nuanced and expressive. This sort of change can sometimes be at the expense of solidity and power but that was not the case here, the DAC continued to deliver a typically powerful performance.
With the Mutec MC3+ USB reclocker which is a much lighter unit at 1.35kg the effect of elevating it with the Auva EQs was to make the sound bolder and more dynamic. With the heavier (2kg) Ref10 Nano word clock the result was closer to that found with the previous electronics and mainly related to spaciousness and three dimensionality of imaging.
Moving over to the analogue source I tried the three Auva EQ feet under a Tom Evans Groove+ SRX MkII, this acrylic cased phono stage has four rubber feet so the Stacks were placed against the base with the rubber feet on the wooden rack shelf beneath. This had the opening up effect again with a clarification of detail making it easier to hear what was going on. It felt like a tonal lift that worked well with a relatively clean recording but might highlight shortcomings with less sophisticated productions. The bass was not restricted but rather leading edges were better defined and this increased the sense of articulation across the board.
Under the three feet of a Rega Naia turntable (4.7kg) the Stack isolators allow the sound to open up rather nicely without any apparent tonal change, just larger soundstage scale with stronger image projection. Crucially they also reveal that this turntable capable of even better timing when separated from vibration in the supporting surface. The Naia has no suspension of its own so is more likely to ‘read’ the energy in the support, but its high stiffness and low mass mean that its less sensitive than most, yet the Auva EQs clearly benefitted the sound it produces.
These Stack Audio feet may look simple but the results suggests that the combination of silicone rubber and their particle damping system works and works well. I note that the weight ranges are related to the silicone inserts and that these can be purchased separately should you switch components, making them usefully future proof. The Auva EQs are priced competitively considering their British made origins and proprietary tech, not to mention that they are built and finished to a high standard. If you want to get a better idea of what the components in your system are capable of I suggest you give them a try."

"It was different with the AUVA EQs. Sound became more three-dimensional with them, more "present", and most importantly soundstage depth, as well as the depth of sounds themselves, significantly improved."
Highfidelity Magazine recently published a review of our AUVA EQs, experimenting with them under several pieces of Hi-Fi & the beautiful Rega Planar 3 50th Anniversary turntable which they found to be a exceptional pairing.
"Roy Gandy, Rega's owner and chief designer, has his own ideas about turntable construction. One of them is the use of rather simple feet based on soft materials. And it works, even works great. planar models were listened to in their "microcosm" in the design phase and everything internally "plays" in them. Therefore, adding better feet to them often changes the sound, but rarely for the better.

"Applying AUVA feet to the preamplifier added significant gains. The centre image became more solid and stable, and vocals were rendered with greater focus and presence. Micro-dynamic expression improved, particularly on vocal recordings where subtle inflections and tonal variations became easier to follow.
The biggest surprise came when installing AUVA feet under my mono power amplifiers (D’Agostino M400 MxV). The improvement here was far greater than expected. The soundstage expanded significantly in all dimensions, not just width, but depth and height, and importantly into the room itself. On several recordings, instruments extended beyond the speaker boundaries and even slightly behind the listening position, creating a highly immersive experience.
Vocal reproduction improved again, with more body, texture and realism. Low-level details such as audience noise, coughs and subtle ambience cues became clearly audible and precisely located. "With the AUVAs the body of the piano was fuller, more three dimensionally carved in space, and the depth and dimensions of the space around the piano was much more defined. And the whole presentation appeared bigger. The piano itself was presented with more authority, and a sense of ease."
Review of Stack Audio AUVA EQ
"With this latest addition of AUVA EQs it was time for my DAC to get the upgrade that has previously transformed the performance of my Cayin CS-88A tube amp, Denon DCD-1700NE used as a CD-transport, and Usher SD-500 speakers.
Every time I make a change in my hifi I make sure that I’m present and fully ”there” to experience the shift. It’s just something I do and it makes the gear-side of this amazing hobby even more enjoyable for me. And today, presence presented itself. And the aim was a solid comparison between the old and the new.
It was easy to switch between the rubber feet currently supporting my DAC, originally purchased for my old set of speakers for around €25. Very basic, quite stiff. But still they dampen some vibrations. With my Denafrips Ares II DAC resting on the rubber feet, the AUVA EQs could fit comfortably underneath the DAC without touching, which meant switching between the two dampening philosophies was fast and with minimal effort.
The CD-track for this episode of Experiencing the Shift was the pianist Tiffany Poon’s solo contribution to The Dvořák Album with Jan Vogler et al (Sony, 2022), the wonderfully naïve No. 7 from 8 Humoresques, Op. 101. I know this track well.
After a few back and forths, the difference became clear. With the AUVAs the body of the piano was fuller, more three dimensionally carved in space, and the depth and dimensions of the space around the piano was much more defined. And the whole presentation appeared bigger. The piano itself was presented with more authority, and a sense of ease. The notes sounded more liquid and smooth. With the plain rubber feet on the other hand, the timbre of the piano was more on the lively side. But in comparison it sounded as if the wooden structure of the piano was somewhat missing, with focus being on the brilliance of hammers on strings rather than a cohesive representation of an instrument with a character of its own.
Again, upgrading my hifi with another set of AUVA EQs has made the music in my treated listening room sound even less like a recording, and even more like the real thing.
What a time to be alive."

"The AUVA EQ Isolators are excellent examples of how well-designed isolation can elevate a high-fidelity system. They don't fundamentally change the character of your components or speakers, but rather allow them to perform closer to their true potential."
"I have been music lover and hifi enthusiast for over 30 years and I constantly seeking to extract the utmost performance from my system, I've had my share of experiences with various isolation products. Recently, I've had the pleasure of integrating Stack Audio's AUVA 100 speaker isolators and AUVA EQ component isolators into my setup, and the results have been genuinely impressive.
The core technology behind both, the "Particle Impact Damping," initially sounded like something from a science fiction novel, but in practice, it delivers. The idea is to rigidly support the equipment while simultaneously absorbing unwanted vibrations through the movement and collisions of internal particles. This differs from many traditional isolation methods that rely solely on compliant materials. On the Stack Audio AUVA 100 Isolators (for speakers):
Placing the AUVA 100s under my speakers was the first step. Visually, they are substantial and well-engineered, adding a touch of industrial elegance to the speaker stands. The immediate sonic impact was not a subtle "night and day" difference, as some might hope for with any tweak, but rather a profound refinement of the sound.
The most noticeable improvement was in bass definition and control. My speakers (Kerr Acoustic K200), already capable, seemed to gain an extra layer of precision in the lower frequencies. Bass notes became tighter, more articulate, and less prone to blurring, even in complex passages. This wasn't about more bass, but better bass – leaner, faster, and with improved texture.
Beyond the bass, the soundstage opened up significantly. There was a greater sense of space around instruments and vocals. Imaging became more pinpoint where everything is much easier
to follow . Vocals, in particular, seemed to gain clarity and presence, becoming easier to decipher and more emotionally engaging. It felt as if a veil had been lifted, revealing nuances I hadn't fully appreciated before.
The music flowed more effortlessly, creating a more natural and involving listening experience. On the Stack Audio AUVA EQ Isolators (for components):
Encouraged by the speaker isolators, I introduced the AUVA EQs under all my electronic components, starting with my digital source, Cen.Grand DSDAC 1.0 Advance. Each isolation platform has SA AUVA EQ specifically for the certain weight. These smaller, more discreet isolators work on the same principle, aiming to decouple sensitive electronics from vibrational interference.
The EQs delivered similar benefits to their larger speaker counterparts, albeit on a more nuanced scale. I perceived an increase in overall resolution and detail. Subtle reverbs and low-level information in recordings became more apparent, contributing to a richer and more realistic soundstage. The sense of clarity extended across the frequency spectrum, making it easier to follow individual instrumental lines.
There was also an improvement in spatial focus. Images within the soundstage became more sharply defined and had a greater sense of three-dimensionality. With all these the music becomes more natural and more engaging.Overall Thoughts:
Both the AUVA 100 and AUVA EQ isolators are excellent examples of how well-designed isolation can elevate a high-fidelity system. They don't fundamentally change the character of your components or speakers, but rather allow them to perform closer to their true potential by minimizing the impact of environmental vibrations. The improvements are cumulative and contribute to a more natural, detailed, and engaging listening experience.
While these products represent an investment, for those serious about getting the best from their audio equipment, the sonic enhancements they provide are, in my opinion, well worth the outlay. They are a testament to the fact that addressing vibration can be one of the most impactful upgrades in a high-end audio system."

"Initial EQ placement next to the existing feet provided some benefit in overall sound clarity and bass tightness and reach. After some re-positioning, it was perfect! All benefits noted with the initial traditional placement were improved by multiple factors along with the introduction of musical coherence."

“Works under equipment AND often upside down on top of equipment!”
“Brilliant product, staff and delivery. These guys know there stuff and are so friendly and helpful they certanly know what they are doing exellent a 5 star for me all the way 🙂🙃🌟”
“The Stack Audio equipment isolators are another great product. We have replaced most of our spikes on our electronics and have replaced them with the AUVA equipment isolators to great affect. Overall sound quality has improved across the board. Again highly recommended.”
“Great improvement, neutral
Nice packaging
Good adjustability.”
“We are all heard the over used term ‘game changer’ - well this was the real deal. I was simply astonished at the refinement of image focus and mid to bass control. And there I was thinking I’d come to the end of upgrades.”
“It does work, no matter what some people say. At least in my system.”
“Big improvement with my Antipodes K50. Small improvement with my Weiss Helios.”
“Great audio product. Highly recommended!!! Great customer service as well!”
“Much more bas control and refined hights.”

“More effective than the Isoacoustics, which I held in high esteem”
“Have the Stack eq under my tube amplifier and under my power conditioner. What a difference. More depth, more natural sounds, more open and more peace. Then I removed the set under the power conditioner and put it under my turntable. This was a real improvement. My records sound much better than my cds on my Teac cd player. Now saving for Stacks under my speakers.”
“The advantage of this equipment isolator for me is not worth of 5 stars. But I can also later try them under my amplifier.”
“Sonically fantastic visually unbeatable, I love that modern industrial design.”

“One of the best relatively inexpensive upgrades which are worth every penny, having heard both Stillpoints & Franc Fat Foots which quite frankly don’t even come close”
“A simple and shockingly good product.”
“I really enjoy the presentation these isolation feet bring to my main system. There is a lower noise floor and a bit more dynamics and a rich yet accurate tonal balance.”
“The product improved the sound of my system when I placed them under the corners of my Streamer Try them”
“Made a meaningful difference. Brought things into focus. Loved it so much that I bought two more sets.”
“As advertised - positive and IMMEDIATE effect on my system - more punch and detail - awesome!!!”
“A fabulous product that really makes your audio system sing. Improved bass, treble, midrange and better sound staging. All at a very reasonable price. What's not to like?”
“I have ordered this product four times and each piece of equipment I place them under seems to have an cumulative effect/improvement on my system. I couldn't be more happy with product and it's fair price.”
“Remarkable improvement throughout the music spectrum. Stage is bigger and the separation of orchestra instruments is precise”
“The EQ is an audiophile game changer! I have six components now isolated with the EQ. Clarity, a wider soundstage, more detail and a greater feeling of presence in my playback are the attributes of success with this solution.
Well done Stack Audio and please keep the innovation coming!”
“Honestly, I was totally happy with the overall sonic presentation of my setup with isolators from 2 well know brands installed. I had detail, clarity, extended bass, and a nonexistant noise floor. At least that what I thought.
A friend of mine asked me to try the Auvas because he had been using the same isolators from the same two companies that I was, and he found the Auva 2s to be absolutely amazing on most of his high-end gear. He had a couple sets left from his order where he felt like the original isolators did the same job, and he brought them to me for trial and comparrison.
Well I did so. Somewhat reluctantly, because of how heavy my gear is, and once I found out the cost of the Auvas, I honestly didn't even think they would work.
Well, I was absolutely, instantly floored by the change in my presentation! It was as if I had removed a blockage of wax out of my ear drums. Every aspect of my musical presentation had gotten subjectively better, and all I did was replace the isolators underneath my turntable platform, and the control for my RCM Big Phono stage. I was even more amazed when I decided to put my original isolators back in the next day! What I thought was warm, detailed, and legible before, now seemed bright, less separated, and muddied!!
So I purchased the extra sets of 2s from my friend and ordered two sets of 3s for the RCM power supply and my Mcintsosh MA8000. Both of these pieces weigh in at an excess of 80 pounds.
I also like the fact that the Auvas are rounded and not as tall as the ones that I was using before. My components are now more stable and they fit on my audio rack better.
I wasn't looking for replacements and yet, replacements were needed.
I hope to try their speaker isolators soon!!
If you are looking for great isolators that also happen to be a great price, I would definitely recommend the Auva component Isolators from Stack Audio!!”
“Used on various components on my Hi Fi system including CD transport, DAC, Phono stage, the improvement does not have to be listened for - it is THERE. The sound is just ......better. everything is cleaner, more focused, and tiny details become clearer with the obvious drop in noise floor. Value for money when comparing with some similar devices is incredible. I SHALL be buying more.”
“Well made quality product bought to go under my naim ndx2 and pre amp. Created perceived space around everything and opened up soundstage left , right and depth.
Bought to replace polypods and were a much noticeable improvement. I would have no hesitation on recommending the stack audio EQs.”

“More relaxed sound, yet with more clarity…..more life like.”
“Works good”
“I have spent a fortune on isolation footers for my Hi Fi gear. This is one of the best, ever!”
“Definitely try this first if you are considering upgrading components, well worth the investment.”

“Ernestine Anderson's "Moonlight in Vermont" is from the '60s, and like much of the music from that time, it is recorded without much compression and digital tricks. I tried listening without the Stacks under my Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 amp. The sound was good—open and beautiful. After placing the EQs back, the reverb of her smooth vocal was clearly audible, and there was a better flow and ease to the music that was captivating.
So, the AUVA EQs will stay, replacing a set of IsoAcoustics Orea Bronze and some EVPs, which are both good. Stack Audio’s EQ footers are just better—more musical and more enjoyable.

“I am using those pucks on my NAIM Fraims under my Naim equipment and even under my LP12. I tried other isolators in comparison with the EQ‘s. Nothing performed on the level of Stack Audio. Even on the Fraim there is a clear improvement noticeable.”
“I have installed these on every piece of equipment I own including the us of AUVA’s for speakers. It is one of the most significant audible upgrades I have ever made to my system. A truly outstanding product.”
“This little gadget represents one of the best, if not the best, Hi-Fi upgrades people can do to their existing or upgraded systems. It is also cumulative and the more you remove vibrations from your various source components and amplifiers the better the overall stability of the soundstage, precision of the instrument placement and fidelity of the music becomes. With the returns policy and phenomenal customer service it is literally a no-brainer - try them today”

"The most obvious improvement is that it's more musical, followed by better separation, and bass might be improved, but I haven't tested properly yet.
The new set goes under the Primaluna pre amp. With the new set landed under the pre amp. Primaluna evo400, and i can only say wow! That's a huge difference.
Didn't expect something like that. Everything became very natural and organic with better dynamics, way dipper."

"Now a little about the sound - a better definition of the entire sound spectrum, a more adjusted bass that benefited vocals as well as the rest of the sound spectrum.
The sound has been changed, I would say that it is now globally finer."

“I have some wonderful new feet! However I am pleased to say that I have not had a surgical operation. Instead, I have purchased two sets of Stack Audio EQ isolation feet for my hi-fi.
These components are beautifully constructed in every respect. I also particularly
liked the unique concept upon which these were designed.
I have fitted them beneath the chassis of my Roksan Caspian M2 Amplifier and CD player.
Overall, the effect of the AUVA EQ’s was more noticeable beneath the amplifier where the improvements were noticed immediately. The effect on the CD player was a little more subtle but nonetheless resulted in the same things being improved..
Having played many different tracks from many different artists my conclusions are as follows:
Clearer separation of instruments.
Overall production has more clarity and detail
Hearing some instruments that I had not really noticed before
Sheer slam and attack on the drums is improved
Bass has become deeper with more control and drive/slam Vocals are more prominent Soundstage improved across the board.
My system has never sounded quite so good."

"The second set of AUVAs are a revelation under my Musical fidelity m6scd cd player compared to the Isoacoustics OREA Indigo isolators the same as I found using them under my streamer I sit in amazement at how something that has practically metal to metal contact can improve the sound so much, once you put them under the equipment you do not want to remove them, the sound is so much more open detail comes out you have not heard before."
"Received my third set of AUVA EQs this week. They never cease to amaze me, they have made a very noticeable improvement in the bass, imaging and spaciousness of my Sugden Audio Masterclass IA-4 and Union Research Simply 4 Valve amp. Can't wait to see what a difference they make to my Garrard 401!"

"Pleased to say the EQs were delivered last week and they have since been installed and doing a great job.
My intention was to remove the turntable feet and replace directly but discovered the existing feet are precision made to fit within the platter. SME do amaze me.So although you advise the feet should be placed directly in contact with the equipment, I tried them under the existing feet. Size-wise and paint finish-wise, they are a perfect match. They have also rectified the vibration issue so I am more than happy."

"Immediately I noticed more separation, or focus, as Chesky Records say. Individual instruments were easier to hear, but also background vocalists. Especially the live version of Money which has a crowded soundstage with many instruments, but also the synthesizer 'floated' better in many songs."

"Thanks for getting these to me so quickly. They are truly worth it. There is less smearing, more definition, tighter bass and better spatial queues. I'm sure that has all been said before based on seeing others' reviews of these."
"So my observation is similar to me being 55 and looking back at computer games I played in the 90s.
When I look back at some of those games on Youtube I think to myself that what I am seeing on Youtube is nothing like what I remember from when I played the game all those years ago. I remember the game being so much more vivid and real than the pixelated image I am seeing on Youtube.
I believe what is happening is the effect or power of the mind to fill in the gaps of the pixelated image and reality. Our minds are that powerful. But that takes energy and work in the mind. Something that I had much more reserves of when I was much younger. As I aged I noticed that expending that same energy today tires me more than it used to.
Listening to my system at night, critically or with intent, has led to some nights in me becoming tired after a while of listening. Some nights are worse than others. I believe, in my case, some of the cause is my mind working to fill in the gaps of the music my system is producing with that of how I hear things in nature or around me. My mind is working to decipher what instrument is being played or what that artist's voice sounds like.
After I installed the EQs under my DAC the magic and effect was immediate and undeniable. All the descriptors that Hans Beekhuyzen used are there. But what I personally found different was a relaxing of my brain. I was listening to the music instead of analyzing the music. I believe my mind didn't have to work as hard to add in the transients and multi-layering of the human voices and instruments being played. The plucking of a string had all the extra details that the brain knows are there in reality but I wasn't hearing in my recordings on my system as easily.
This effect is much like the improved graphics of computer games and the use of shading and reflections in games. You see the beauty in the newer games but the other effect is your mind doesn't have to work to fill in the blanks between what you are seeing on screen and reality. You can then spend more energy immersed and enjoying what you are seeing or hearing.
I feel that is the effect I am experiencing with the EQs. Everyone is different and everyone's brains work somewhat differently. I have a friend who honestly can't tell the difference between a basic MP3 and a High Res file.
I look very much forward to ordering more of your devices in the future!!!"

"The AUVA EQs combine well with my other Isolators because each type has different tuning and strengths. The AUVA EQs sound best on my preamp in my current system, and it's an improvement in the overall system frequency response."

"I got the EQ's and have them under my turntable. Wow, just an immediate improvement to the music. Much cleaner and less noise. Really amazing!"
"Over the past two years, I have owned a variety of isolation/coupling devices to include Stillpoints, Symposium Rollerblocks, IsoAcoustics component and Gaia speaker Isolation devices. They all made some positive improvements but they all lacked the speed and initial attack of notes and a sharper image focus that Audio Points Coupling discs and Speaker System provided.
I was quite happy with my AP until I heard about Stack Audio. The moment I replaced my AP with coupling discs to the AUVA EQ, I heard way more low-level detail, texture, more expansive soundstage width/depth and image focus was much tighter with a more impactful midbass and bass presence. Each AUVA EQ added to my DAC and Tube Pre-Amp increased my listening pleasure quite notably..
I also added the AUVA 100 Speaker Isolators a few days ago and to my surprise, they have similar attributes as the EQ; tighter/cleaner midbass/bass, more transparency, ambiance/spatial detail and a laser focused image that you can follow precisely within the soundstage.
These AUVA EQ and Speaker Isolators are the real deal and they are staying where they belong, in my system..."

"Our experiments brought us to the following conclusions:
Using the EQs with source units (Oppo and TT) resulted in improvements which were clearly audible and essential. It sounded as if the musicians were present in the room!
Using them with the T+A SR 1560 R surround receiver brought no improvement when comparing with the existing Inakustik elements. With the TT we had to put them under the original feet because the bottom is not even. But as you expected there was a clear improvement."

“To apply the EQ’s directly under the casing of my preamp, I dismounted the original feet, as these almost have the same height as the EQ’s. This makes it more challenging to also try them out under the power amp, however, I do not think I will need to do so at this stage. The results are really surprising, again I am hearing a quite significant positive change! The bass seems extended and has (much) more texture and detail. The reduced level of (micro)vibrations g”
