“I am using a full rack of Finite Elemente for my Lamm preamp and Gryphon Essence power amp, driving Kharma DB9s speakers, now with the AUVA 100 replacing the previous shoe of IsoAcoustics GAIA. First impression is bass punch is tighter and faster. The already wide soundstage is wider, and music is more three-dimensional, with every instrument clearly more audible.”

“You would think that with Wadax Studio Player on Pagode MKII, not much further improvement could be done.

But by adding the Revopods, the sound did improve.

Just days ago, based on Roy’s review, I added the Zero Point Matrix 1 to my speakers, and the impact was incredible: much clearer sound, quieter background, better separation, … like they promise.

Reading the Stack Audio review and the explanations, I thought if their platform didn’t improve my sound further, nothing would… but I was hugely and positively surprised by what they brought versus an already highly upgraded, fantastic sound … they further opened the soundstage (all dimensions).

They brought more real & natural sound & dimension to the instruments, closer to live.

Highly recommendable, even more for the price.”

“I’ve installed the Auva 100s and EQs, and they are truly outstanding products. They’ve elevated the sound, which was already excellent, to an entirely new level. Products like these prove that what may seem like simple tweaks can, in fact, make a significant difference in hi-fi. I’m really enjoying the much-improved transparency, detail, articulation, and the almost spooky soundstage and imaging.”

“I was entirely unprepared for the improvements that the AUVA PLATFORM under the OL Sovereign brought to the sound of music from my system. Music sounded completely different and the overall presentation was hugely improved in so many ways.”

"The result is greater detail without any sort of treble boost, and this is combined with a general deepening of silence between notes. It’s great because this is where tube gear already excels, so it brings out the best voicing of tubes without making them sound any more “tubey” in a negative sense."

When I learned that Stack was making an isolation platform, I knew that I would order one immediately. This is rare for me, but everything I’ve purchased from  Stack Audio has performed way above its price range and has had a very positive effect. Stack clearly works on engineering and not “woo”. So it’s a bit ironic that it has such a great effect on my Woo Audio WA 22. There is a precision to the sound, where mid-range detail really starts to emerge very organically. The result is greater detail without any sort of treble boost, and this is combined with a general deepening of silence between notes. It’s great because this is where tube gear already excels, so it brings out the best voicing of tubes without making them sound any more “tubey” in a negative sense.

As expected, the build quality is flawless, and appears to be more robust than its price would indicate. It was extremely easy to level, and once levelled, it was completely stable under load. I wish I had a Technics SP 10, a Brinkman, or something similar to test it with, since those tables do really well from what I understand with this type of isolation!”

"Before, I thought there was a problem with the bass which has now disappeared. The system seems more grounded and it is now possible to hear more of the sounds in the background which went previously unnoticed.

"I am quite impressed with this newly acquired platform. This is currently supporting my Soulution 331 integrated which has some special feet of its own. I already thought this amp to be quite good. The platform has improved on it with better separation improving the whole spectrum. Before I thought there was a problem with the bass which has now disappeared. "The Stabiliser lends a slightly more detailed and open presentation to the sound of vinyl, with a tight bass and more transparent midrange and treble apparent."

"Having auditioned and purchased Stack Audio Auva EQ footers (3 for under my turntable and a set of 4, to support my power amp) back in March, this year, I decided to take a punt on their latest stable additions of Serene Stabiliser (record puck) and Serene platter mat.

The Serene Stabiliser is quite lightweight, for a record puck, weighing in at less than 100g, and costs £195. The Serene Mat sells for £75 and both are available, together with a 60 day, money back guarantee, from The Stack Audio website.

Both items are exceptionally well made and presented in Stack Audio’s usual sturdy packaging and it is obvious that a lot of thought and innovation has gone into their design and manufacturing.

I began by replacing my usual record puck (the substantial Stillpoints LP1, weighing a “satanic” 666g on my TW Acoustics Raven One turntable (a non-suspended design, which I have owned since 2010). The heavy Stillpoints LP1 is not really suitable for a turntable with a sprung suspension, but I have used it in conjunction with my Raven One, without issue.

In comparison, the Stack Audio Serene Stabiliser lends a slightly more detailed and open presentation to the sound of vinyl, with a tight bass and more transparent midrange and treble apparent. I suspect that the weight of the Stillpoints LP1 enhances the bass at the expense of slightly suppressing the mids and highs.

There is no “leanness” to the bass when the Serene Stabiliser is used, but everything comes together, when the puck is deployed in partnership with the Serene Mat.

The combination of the two results in what I would describe as a reduction in “record roar” - the noise of the stylus tracing the record groove and resulting in a reduction in the system noise floor and overall background hash, usually associated with vinyl replay, when compared to digital.

The combination of puck and mat lends a some what euphonic presentation to the sound, by which I mean, that everything sounds very musical and wholesome.

For those interested in the technological background, I would refer you to Stack Audio’s website for a full explanation, but the bottom line is all about vibration control, the puck dealing with vibration from the turntable bearing and spindle and the mat, with it’s four dimple “suspensions” dissipating the vibration within the revolving vinyl record.

The Aussie Audiophile also has some interesting thoughts on his YouTube channel.

With the 60-day money back guarantee and generous forum discount code (maverick5), for an outlay of just over £260 for puck and mat, I would urge you to give it a try!"

"Applying AUVA feet to the preamplifier added significant gains. The centre image became more solid and stable, and vocals were rendered with greater focus and presence. Micro-dynamic expression improved, particularly on vocal recordings where subtle inflections and tonal variations became easier to follow.

The biggest surprise came when installing AUVA feet under my mono power amplifiers (D’Agostino M400 MxV). The improvement here was far greater than expected. The soundstage expanded significantly in all dimensions, not just width, but depth and height, and importantly into the room itself. On several recordings, instruments extended beyond the speaker boundaries and even slightly behind the listening position, creating a highly immersive experience.

Vocal reproduction improved again, with more body, texture and realism. Low-level details such as audience noise, coughs and subtle ambience cues became clearly audible and precisely located. Bass remained powerful but gained even greater control and articulation, with less sense of it being tied to the room or subwoofer location."

"With the AUVA feet in place, that mechanical interaction was dramatically reduced. Bass became noticeably tighter, cleaner and more articulate, with better definition of pitch and texture and far less overhang."

"I installed Stack Audio AUVA SW feet under the rear Velodyne DD10+ subwoofer, and the improvement was immediately obvious and more significant than I expected. Prior to fitting the AUVA SW feet, I could clearly hear the subwoofer coupling with the floor and carpet, which introduced muddiness to the bass and made it easier to localise where the low frequencies were coming from.

With the AUVA feet in place, that mechanical interaction was dramatically reduced. Bass became noticeably tighter, cleaner and more articulate, with better definition of pitch and texture and far less overhang. The subwoofer integrated far more seamlessly, creating a more coherent and natural presentation across the entire low-frequency range.

Interestingly, even without increasing the subwoofer volume, it felt as though there was greater true low-end extension and authority simply because the bass was now better controlled and more focused. Beyond the bass improvements, the benefits extended to the whole system: midrange and high frequencies became more defined, imaging improved, and the overall presentation sounded more realistic and stable.

To verify what I was hearing, I performed RT60 decay measurements in REW both before and after installing the AUVA SW feet. The measurements clearly showed a significant reduction in low-frequency decay times, particularly in the critical bass region, which directly mirrors the cleaner, faster and more controlled bass response I experienced during listening.

In my highly resolving system and acoustically treated room, the AUVA SW feet delivered a measurable and clearly audible upgrade, transforming the DD10+ into a far better integrated and more musical part of the system.

I have attached below the REW RT60 graph for reference, which visually confirms the improvement in decay performance (blue line before and purple line after installing)."

“Thanks to greater accuracy, the music gains coherence and timing, increasing dynamic range and providing more freshness and vibrancy. Singers and instruments have greater presence and body. Furthermore, the 3D representation is more immersive. The increased spatiality is accompanied by greater openness and airiness.

Thus, the AUVA 70 offers a significant performance boost and, considering the sonic improvement, is truly excellent value. Highly recommended!”

“Wherever I deployed the AUVA, the reproduction consistently improved. In the silence in the background. In the tranquillity imparted to the system. Especially in the stereo image, which gained depth and height, and could just as easily become wider. Also in naturalness, detail, and spatiality, in which, for example, reverb was given the time to slowly fade into the background. Voices lost a ragged edge, even if that wasn’t really noticeable before; instruments detached more from the harmonic overtones they produce.”

"I have tighter bass, greater detail in the LF and they match the Auva 100 my speakers sit on. One of the great things I have found is that the SW have improved the whole frequency, high to low, due to having less LF influence on the rest of the audio band. They have been a much welcomed addition to what Stack has already provided for my system."

"The AUVA SWs certainly are a considerable improvement over the SVS Soundpath feet I used before. With the Auva SWs bass instruments are better defined and the soundstage is more coherent. This was already easily detectable right out of the box. And there is an unexpected bonus: with the Auva SWs it has become much easier to fine tune the settings of my SVS SB-2000 Pro, in order to suit the imperfection of my room acoustics and ears.

It seems to me that Theo and Josh of Stack Audio once again did a fine job, developing an excellent upgrade at a competitive price. I already had their Auva 70’s under my Wharfedale Evo 4.3 speakers and Auva EQ’s under my Cambridge EXA100 amp, much to my satisfaction. The delivery of the Auva SW’s was swift, by the way. I ordered them on Monday afternoon and just three days later they were delivered at my doorstep."

"Two-day delivery to USA, Great! Packaging, Build and Presentation, Excellent!! Sub/System Sonic Improvements…OMG!!!

As we call it in the deep south, Voodoo! The magic these four little sub isolators have worked out in my system kept me picking my jaw off the floor! They just have no right to positively transform my overall musical presentation’s bottom-to-top bandwidth like they do! If you have any interest in what the AUVA-SW   Sub Isolators  did to my ears (and potentially can yours), please allow me to elaborate below.

With 25 years in music study, degree, performance, and teaching, I found my passion for fidelity music reproduction, one that I have perused for the past half century! Currently, in my fine-tuned dynamic speaker 2-channel audio system (LAiV uDAC, feeding Starkrimson GaNFET power amp, powering reference RAAL 3-way tower speakers and musical Axiom EP500 12” powered sub), my dedicated music room has allowed me to achieve fidelity soundstage realism that is consistently mind-blowing. There has been steady learning and sonic gains with every aspect of my system during these years (going pure digital, CD transport to external DAC, AUVA 50s and EQs, etc.) and to my ears, I had everything and wanted for nothing in listening session auditory fidelity bliss! THEN, these SWs showed up at my door!?!

Now, the fast, tight, tuneful bass response is even More impactful and much richer with better defined texture, pitch, and tonality! Though I did not associate sonic issues before, with the AUVA SW isolators installed, any bass ringing and bloom have disappeared and articulation, clarity, depth, PRaT, and note identification have solidly reigned in! Having only a single sub (left of the left tower, 40Hz LP), now find its sonic integration with the full-range towers and overall center phantom soundstage blends seamlessly, creating the sub total disappearance. Much of this sonic bass improvement was not expected, but certainly very welcomed!!

I still have trouble understanding how and why, but an even “bigger surprise” arose (Totally Unexpected). After the first 30 minutes, the SW isolators settled in to their new home and the Soundstage width, depth and height started changing? After the first hour of break-in, the soundstage 3-D holographic presentations grew at-least 50% more (was huge before), with much more realistic and refined air, body and spatial definition to vocalist, instrumentalist, strings, keyboards and percussionist…Totally Mind-Blowing! Imaging fidelity is more precise, more believable, and more natural, All allowing the system and room to even better disappear, placing Me, the Performers and the Music  inside the recorded venue ! Lagniappe (another Cajun saying)...I am now totally in Audio Nirvana !! "

"With the AUVAs the body of the piano was fuller, more three dimensionally carved in space, and the depth and dimensions of the space around the piano was much more defined. And the whole presentation appeared bigger. The piano itself was presented with more authority, and a sense of ease."

Review of Stack Audio AUVA EQ

"With this latest addition of AUVA EQs it was time for my DAC to get the upgrade that has previously transformed the performance of my Cayin CS-88A tube amp, Denon DCD-1700NE used as a CD-transport, and Usher SD-500 speakers.

Every time I make a change in my hifi I make sure that I’m present and fully ”there” to experience the shift. It’s just something I do and it makes the gear-side of this amazing hobby even more enjoyable for me. And today, presence presented itself. And the aim was a solid comparison between the old and the new.

It was easy to switch between the rubber feet currently supporting my DAC, originally purchased for my old set of speakers for around €25. Very basic, quite stiff. But still they dampen some vibrations. With my Denafrips Ares II DAC resting on the rubber feet, the AUVA EQs could fit comfortably underneath the DAC without touching, which meant switching between the two dampening philosophies was fast and with minimal effort.

The CD-track for this episode of Experiencing the Shift was the pianist Tiffany Poon’s solo contribution to The Dvořák Album with Jan Vogler et al (Sony, 2022), the wonderfully naïve No. 7 from 8 Humoresques, Op. 101. I know this track well.

After a few back and forths, the difference became clear. With the AUVAs the body of the piano was fuller, more three dimensionally carved in space, and the depth and dimensions of the space around the piano was much more defined. And the whole presentation appeared bigger. The piano itself was presented with more authority, and a sense of ease. The notes sounded more liquid and smooth. With the plain rubber feet on the other hand, the timbre of the piano was more on the lively side. But in comparison it sounded as if the wooden structure of the piano was somewhat missing, with focus being on the brilliance of hammers on strings rather than a cohesive representation of an instrument with a character of its own.

Again, upgrading my hifi with another set of AUVA EQs has made the music in my treated listening room sound even less like a recording, and even more like the real thing.

What a time to be alive."

"The AUVA EQ Isolators are excellent examples of how well-designed isolation can elevate a high-fidelity system. They don't fundamentally change the character of your components or speakers, but rather allow them to perform closer to their true potential."

"I have been music lover and hifi enthusiast for over 30 years and I constantly seeking to extract the utmost performance from my system, I've had my share of experiences with various isolation products. Recently, I've had the pleasure of integrating Stack Audio's AUVA 100 speaker isolators and AUVA EQ component isolators into my setup, and the results have been genuinely impressive.
The core technology behind both, the "Particle Impact Damping," initially sounded like something from a science fiction novel, but in practice, it delivers. The idea is to rigidly support the equipment while simultaneously absorbing unwanted vibrations through the movement and collisions of internal particles. This differs from many traditional isolation methods that rely solely on compliant materials.

On the Stack Audio AUVA 100 Isolators (for speakers):
Placing the AUVA 100s under my speakers was the first step. Visually, they are substantial and well-engineered, adding a touch of industrial elegance to the speaker stands. The immediate sonic impact was not a subtle "night and day" difference, as some might hope for with any tweak, but rather a profound refinement of the sound.
The most noticeable improvement was in bass definition and control. My speakers (Kerr Acoustic K200), already capable, seemed to gain an extra layer of precision in the lower frequencies. Bass notes became tighter, more articulate, and less prone to blurring, even in complex passages. This wasn't about more bass, but better bass – leaner, faster, and with improved texture.
Beyond the bass, the soundstage opened up significantly. There was a greater sense of space around instruments and vocals. Imaging became more pinpoint where everything is much easier
to follow . Vocals, in particular, seemed to gain clarity and presence, becoming easier to decipher and more emotionally engaging. It felt as if a veil had been lifted, revealing nuances I hadn't fully appreciated before.
The music flowed more effortlessly, creating a more natural and involving listening experience.

On the Stack Audio AUVA EQ Isolators (for components):
Encouraged by the speaker isolators, I introduced the AUVA EQs under all my electronic components, starting with my digital source, Cen.Grand DSDAC 1.0 Advance. Each isolation platform has SA AUVA EQ specifically for the certain weight. These smaller, more discreet isolators work on the same principle, aiming to decouple sensitive electronics from vibrational interference.
The EQs delivered similar benefits to their larger speaker counterparts, albeit on a more nuanced scale. I perceived an increase in overall resolution and detail. Subtle reverbs and low-level information in recordings became more apparent, contributing to a richer and more realistic soundstage. The sense of clarity extended across the frequency spectrum, making it easier to follow individual instrumental lines.
There was also an improvement in spatial focus. Images within the soundstage became more sharply defined and had a greater sense of three-dimensionality. With all these the music becomes more natural and more engaging.

Overall Thoughts:
Both the AUVA 100 and AUVA EQ isolators are excellent examples of how well-designed isolation can elevate a high-fidelity system. They don't fundamentally change the character of your components or speakers, but rather allow them to perform closer to their true potential by minimizing the impact of environmental vibrations. The improvements are cumulative and contribute to a more natural, detailed, and engaging listening experience.
While these products represent an investment, for those serious about getting the best from their audio equipment, the sonic enhancements they provide are, in my opinion, well worth the outlay. They are a testament to the fact that addressing vibration can be one of the most impactful upgrades in a high-end audio system."

"Initial EQ placement next to the existing feet provided some benefit in overall sound clarity and bass tightness and reach. After some re-positioning, it was perfect! "I received the SERENE Stabiliser and have been using it with my Thorens TD-125 for several days. My turntable is belt-driven and has a suspended platter. I never like using heavy record weights, as I don't want to add additional mass to the platter. The SERENE Stabiliser is very light weight and perfect for my needs. It's not adding mass, but using different technology to stabilize the the record. I did A/B test the SERENE Stabiliser and it definitely removed slight distortion that I never noticed before. It appears to have stabilized the playback speed a bit as well. I've gone through several record clamps and never been that happy. The SERENE Stabiliser is a nice addition and I will be using it moving forward. "

“It is like having a far more expensive system in a much larger room. Gone are a lot of perceived room modes. Bass is so much more open and detailed and deep and not muffling higher frequencies. The mids are so nice and tonally correct. The highs have totally opened up and sound far more extended without any harshness. The stereo image (which was really good) is much wider, deeper, higher. Like I said it is like having a > 100 mtr2 room. The depth is literally as if there is no wall behind the set. This transformation was unexpected.”

"So it's taken me a little while to get to grips with the sound of the Serene Stabiliser against the Stillpoints V2 Record weight, partly because the difference is so fundamental. The first thing I noticed was, as its name suggests, the new 'serenity' of the music. By that I mean the overall sound is now much quieter and more relaxed as if a whole level of bass boom or distortion has been stripped away. The bass is still impressive and underpins the music but now there is much more space and air for the mid and treble ranges to shine. Instruments are now easier to follow as the soundstage is much deeper and wider.
All this from a very light record 'puck', it is truly amazing! I was very happy with my system prior to this but the Serene Stabiliser has elevated the sound and enjoyment of my records by a very considerable margin. More relaxing, more life like and just a whole lot more enjoyable. I could quite easily envisage a serious cartridge or amplifier upgrade not achieving this uplift in performance, thank you Stack for a fabulous product."

"You guys are some of the most creative thinkers in the industry. The Mat and the Serene make “small but meaningful improvements”. But that word “small” vs the word “meaningful”, lets cogitate in that a bit. It’s like a round house kick when you learn to properly turn your hip - that’s small, but results in being able to knock a sucker out or pulverize their leg and end the fight. Or that small paycheck bonus that sends you in a life -changing trip to Thailand, or the wife that finally gets a small job but now you can retire 5 years early. Or when you learn to properly use acid when you’re cooking and flavoring to taste- it’s just a squeeze of lemon or a cap full of vinegar, but it transforms the dish into something merely good into something completely phenomenal."

"The Stack Audio Serene Mat has more depth and a smoother presentation. Bass depth on Jazz Sabbath is noticeably stronger, especially on the bass drum and richness of the piano."

My initial thoughts are below (in too much detail) for the LP12 and the P10—they were initially inconclusive until I adjusted the VTA (at Paul Knipe’s very experienced suggestion) on the LP12 to suit the mat thickness of the Serene. That adjustment made a marked difference in my findings for the Serene.

On Friday night, I compared six albums over and over for 3–4 hours: Jazz Sabbath (jazz trio), Judas Priest's Serpent and the King and Invincible Shield (lots of layered guitars, vocals, and drums), Gary Numan (complex industrial sounds), Leonard Cohen's You Want It Darker, Steve Hackett's Guitar Noir (Side 1—layered, sometimes messy mixes), and Philip Bailey's Easy Lover (which can sound thin but has lots going on). Since then, I have tested at least a dozen complete albums.

The Serene mat is thicker (3mm), and I did not adjust the VTA between changes initially or any other settings on my tonearm, as any comparisons would have been too slow to audibly hear. I have, however, now adjusted the VTA to suit the Stack Audio Serene Mat and resumed comparisons after several hours. The VTA adjustment made a significant enough difference here, and this comparison helped me hear it clearly. The VTA of my arm was originally set for a thinner mat.

Differences were actually quite easy for me to hear without the VTA adjustment—and I don’t always notice anything unless it’s truly adding or removing something, including background noise. I am not one for the “blacker blacks” or “my wife walked into the room and could hear the difference” nonsense. I tried the Serene Mat with the Serene Stabiliser for fairness on the same sections of tracks, backward and forward repeatedly. Adjusting the VTA made this a much fairer comparison on the LP12.
Initial Thoughts (LP12)
The Stack Audio Serene Mat has more depth and a smoother presentation. Bass depth on Jazz Sabbath is noticeably stronger, especially on the bass drum and richness of the piano. This mat has more "weight" in its presentation but initially felt slightly messier on complex mixes, vocals, and midrange until I adjusted the VTA to suit. After this adjustment, there was a clear improvement.

The mat is beautifully designed, and while it's a rubber mat, records lift off easily while spinning because they sit on small compressing rubber domes.

Conclusions So Far
Without adjusting the VTA:
If you have a brighter sound that needs taming or something that lacks weight, the Stack Audio Serene Mat is ideal, particularly on the Rega. It excels in instrumental music, jazz, and some orchestral recordings. The music sounded more neutral, with a balanced frequency range but initially lacked some spark until the VTA was adjusted.

With the VTA adjusted:
It retained all the clarity of the other mats I’ve tested, but with added depth and richness that worked well across every genre I played. Once I adjusted the VTA, the mat worked brilliantly on everything I tested.

Initial P10 Thoughts
On the P10, before adjusting the VTA, the sound was initially less dynamic, with a flatter tone compared to other setups. Cymbals, vocals, and drums sounded less alive, and I found myself increasing the volume more with the Serene Mat to achieve the same drive. However, the P10’s VTA adjustment options are more limited, meaning further adjustments to suit the Serene Mat would require additional effort. Even so, the mat and Serene Stabiliser combination still improved isolation and damping, helping to retrieve more detail.

Overall
The Stack Audio Serene Mat, particularly when paired with the Serene Stabiliser, is an excellent upgrade that clearly enhances detail retrieval and musicality. It’s remarkably well-made, and the technology and research behind it show in its performance. The mat's ability to isolate and damp vibrations ensures a cleaner, more precise sound, particularly on the LP12 with its greater VTA flexibility.”

"The Serene increased the focus of all instruments; the saxophone was more three-dimensional with significantly improved tonality, sounding more like a real instrument."

Yesterday, I did some critical listening with and without the Serene Stabilizer. The first album I used was Oliver Nelson's The Blues and the Abstract Truth (Stolen Moments) – Acoustic Sounds Series audiophile pressing. I focused on the sound of the saxophone and was amazed by the difference. The Serene increased the focus of all instruments; the saxophone was more three-dimensional with significantly improved tonality, sounding more like a real instrument. After playing the same track back and forth with and without the Serene, I realised I could clearly distinguish the difference every time. The next test was Paul Chambers's Bass on Top. His double bass dominates throughout the album, so it was a good test for the low end. I used the title track, Yesterdays. Again, the same thing happened with the bass: it became more prominent with the Serene, more three-dimensional, with cleaner and improved tonality. Therefore, I am very happy with the Serene."

"Bravo Theo & Josh! Finally a mat that works as promised and more. Hesitating between SA stabiliser and the mat, for my Rega P6 following Josh's recommendation to begin with I replaced the factory felt mat with the Serene mat. Sonic upgrade is comparable to a replacement of a cartridge for a much more expensive / refined one for just below EUR 100 price tag: the whole musical presentation got instantly well organised across all frequencies, no static whatsoever, evident reduction in the record floor noise, the serene tonality applied but the overall dynamics revamped at the same time. Similarly to Auva 70s stabilising and dampening effect under my PMC twenty5.24 speakers, there is a sense of a rigid grip between a platter, the Serene mat and a record. In my system the lower octave/ bass is where everything has been finally properly organized and structured. Same as with Auva EQs under my amp and a streamer, the mat has made vocals and guitars more lifelike/natural while any sibilance or harsh treble notes present on the felt mat are now gone. For any Rega owners, do not let no VTA adjustment on your Regas put you off from at least giving the Serene mat a try (see the parallel angle of a tonearm vs the platter on my Rega P6). One thing to consider: the mat is 180g heavy so I would recommend giving your Rega platter a gentle supportive push to take away the increased starring effort from the engine and the belt. "The combination of the enhancer and met is simply superb. It works with the tt3 really well. To put in perspective we are at a concert with the SCO doing a performance of Bach's Christmas cantata.

The increased sense of realism with the two together is brilliant. Timpani sounding more realistic with real whack on occasions  Cymbolsa really sounding like metal being stuck . Strings sweeter when played that way.

When the whole orchestra play its more cohesive and clearer.

My wife Susan agrees and has no interest in hifi , but has a good pair of ears."

"First impressions it feels and looks a quality product superior to my original Garrard mat which is practically like new it certainly improves the look of my deck.

Sound quality first impressions well first off this should be a pretty good evaluation as the deck is idler wheel driven thought by many to be noisy not by me though this test is just using the mat.

The first thing I notice in my system is more body and focus to the sound there is a smoothness and airiness to the sound defiantly a noticeable improvement you get the impression the noise floor is lowered this is all compared to my original Garrard mat to me this would also be a superb update especially for people that may feel any form of record clamp or puck would harm the bearing or spoil the aesthetics of there deck."

On the Rega Planar 10: “The Stack Audio Serene enhanced the ability to refine fine detail. From the midrange upwards, there is more information to discern.” Their final verdict? The Serene “greatly expands the range of situations where these devices can be effective and offers them at a very competitive price.”

Thank you to Hi-Fi+ for publishing their SERENE Stabiliser review!

They put the Serene through its paces on a range of turntables, from the AVID Ingenium Twin to the Rega Planar 10 and Vertere DG-X, and found it enhanced fine detail and openness across the board, even on decks that “have not traditionally responded positively to anything placed on the record.”

"I tested this for 2 hours today with music from several different artists. Very favourable results so far. Seems to be better separation of the instruments, percussion seems to start and stop in a more defined way, bass sounds tighter, vocals somewhat more prominent.
Overall a noticeable improvement to the musical soundstage, more engaging. Beautiful engineering of a great new concept."

"I already own a popular record stabilizer that I use with my LP12, which has had a notable and positive effect, enhancing definition and retrieving detail. It provides a more fluid musical presentation with a richer, more vibrant tone.

Given this, I was surprised by the impact of the StackAudio ‘Serene Stabiliser.’ Despite being significantly lighter than my current stabilizer, the Serene Stabiliser delivered a profound improvement, building on the qualities of my existing setup. The musical landscape gained depth, with cymbals and snares achieving a strikingly realistic quality. The overall musical flow reached a new level. Even recordings I usually find challenging, like Genesis' *Duke*, became enjoyable, with a deeper, more coherent performance and precise control over high frequencies. I suspect this clarity comes from reducing vibrational smearing across the record surface.

In my setup—which includes the full StackAudio Serene Soprano body/subchassis, Karousel bearing, Lingo VI, and SUPATRAC Blackbird tonearm—the ‘Serene Stabiliser’ truly completes the experience. I can hardly imagine vinyl sounding better than this! A must-try product!"

“Ernestine Anderson's "Moonlight in Vermont" is from the '60s, and like much of the music from that time, it is recorded without much compression and digital tricks. I tried listening without the Stacks under my Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 amp. The sound was good—open and beautiful. After placing the EQs back, the reverb of her smooth vocal was clearly audible, and there was a better flow and ease to the music that was captivating.

So, the AUVA EQs will stay, replacing a set of IsoAcoustics Orea Bronze and some EVPs, which are both good. Stack Audio’s EQ footers are just better—more musical and more enjoyable.

We are pleased to announce that our Australian Fulfilment Centre is now live.

Until now, ordering from the UK as an Australian customer meant your final price could shift depending on import duties, GST, and processing fees applied at the border, and delivery meant a long international shipment before your gear even reached you. That changes today.

We’ve moved to a single, all-in Australian price for every product, a flat adjustment that covers GST, import handling, and processing costs upfront. What you see at checkout is what you pay. No calculations, no “estimated” fees, no invoice arriving weeks later asking for more.

That price also gets you same-day free shipping from our Australian fulfilment centre, not the UK, so your AUVA, SERENE, or SmoothLAN product reaches you faster and clears without customs delays. And if you ever need to return something, it’s handled entirely within Australia, including the return shipping cost, on us.

One clear price, faster delivery, and easier returns, without the guesswork that used to come with ordering internationally.

"Bass sounds cleaner, transients are sharper, and cabinet-induced colouration is convincingly reduced. I came to this product curious, and left convinced."

Reviews of isolation products usually rest on listening impressions alone, so it was great to see StereoNET take measurements too. Accelerometer testing on the subwoofer cabinet, with and without the AUVA SW fitted. Cabinet vibration dropped by 75%. "The most obvious improvement is that it's more musical, followed by better separation, and bass might be improved, but I haven't tested properly yet.
The new set goes under the Primaluna pre amp.

With the new set landed under the pre amp. Primaluna evo400, and i can only say wow! That's a huge difference.
Didn't expect something like that. Everything became very natural and organic with better dynamics, way dipper."

"The Martin Logan Classic 9 has gone to a new home and I brought my 4 year old Kef R5 with Kef KF92 back into the room and removed the IsoAcoustic GAIA ii and installed the Stack Audio AUVA 70 to them, what a dramatic change these AUVA 70 made on these Kef R5, much better clarity from top to bottom, they are solid to the floor, no movement at all. Now working out some details to add the AUVA 50 to the kf92. well done Stack Audio... well done!"

"Now a little about the sound - a better definition of the entire sound spectrum, a more adjusted bass that benefited vocals as well as the rest of the sound spectrum.
The sound has been changed, I would say that it is now globally finer."

“I have some wonderful new feet! However I am pleased to say that I have not had a surgical operation. Instead, I have purchased two sets of Stack Audio EQ isolation feet for my hi-fi.

These components are beautifully constructed in every respect. I also particularly

liked the unique concept upon which these were designed.

I have fitted them beneath the chassis of my Roksan Caspian M2 Amplifier and CD player.

Overall, the effect of the AUVA EQ’s was more noticeable beneath the amplifier where the improvements were noticed immediately. The effect on the CD player was a little more subtle but nonetheless resulted in the same things being improved..

Having played many different tracks from many different artists my conclusions are as follows:

Clearer separation of instruments.

Overall production has more clarity and detail

Hearing some instruments that I had not really noticed before

Sheer slam and attack on the drums is improved

Bass has become deeper with more control and drive/slam Vocals are more prominent Soundstage improved across the board.

My system has never sounded quite so good."

“The AUVAs helped bring subtle details to the forefront. It was amazing to hear the difference so clearly. I wanted to know whether it was the AUVA 70s or the EQs creating the change, so I removed the Equipment Isolators. Straight away, I noticed less treble, air and sparkle, while the bass still remained cleaner thanks to the 70s. It was clear that both isolators were making a genuine impact.”

"The second set of AUVAs are a revelation under my Musical fidelity m6scd  cd player compared to the Isoacoustics OREA Indigo isolators the same as I found using them under my streamer I sit in amazement at how something that has practically metal to metal contact can improve the sound so much, once you put them under the equipment you do not want to remove them, the sound is so much more open detail comes out you have not heard before."

"Received my third set of AUVA EQs this week. They never cease to amaze me, they have made a very noticeable improvement in the bass, imaging and spaciousness of my Sugden Audio Masterclass IA-4 and Union Research Simply 4 Valve amp. Can't wait to see what a difference they make to my Garrard 401!"

"The latest order of AUVA's have worked their magic again, this time on the British amp classic Quad11. Tighter bass, wide soundstage and clarity and they look very impressive on these amps."

"AUVA 50s are really good!

They replaced (in my opinion already good) Isoacoustics Gaias.  Noticeable improvement over Gaias. As if everything was cleared, all frequencies. Most notable on bass, which is less boomy, even mids are more organized. Great product!

Best description of overall effect of AUVAs on my setup I have is following. Imagine as if you upgraded your DAC to higher level."

"Pleased to say the EQs were delivered last week and they have since been installed and doing a great job.

My intention was to remove the turntable feet and replace directly but discovered the existing feet are precision made to fit within the platter. SME do amaze me.So although you advise the feet should be placed directly in contact with the equipment, I tried them under the existing feet. Size-wise and paint finish-wise, they are a perfect match. They have also rectified the vibration issue so I am more than happy."

Stack Audio Auva SW Review (With Objective Data)

Stack Audio Auva SW Review (With Objective Data)

Late Night Unboxing

"I ended up at Stack Audio through Hans Beekhuyzen's review. That's where I bought the Auva 70 insolators for my Focal Sopra No.1. And the Auva Equipment Isolator CSA2 for my Accuphase E4000. This review from Hans resulted in a larger number of orders, but they did everything they could to ensure that I did not have to wait very long for my order and that I received a small compensation for the delay.

When my order was received, I installed the insulators with the utmost care. And then let it break in. After a weekend I must say that there is indeed an improvement in the details and the sound image.
I have a 30-day money back guarantee on my order, which is great that you can try a product for a few weeks, but I will definitely keep my order. I have a feeling they will sound even better after a few more days of playing. Stack Audio indicates 5 hours of playback time."

"What these petite stunners do there feels far too substantial for the outlay involved, and that, to me, is the best thing about them.

Considering how the Auva EQ behaves under electronics, and how effective it is in that role, the asking sum feels almost like a misprint. What these petite stunners do there feels far too substantial for the outlay involved, and that, to me, is the best thing about them.

While evaluating these, I found myself returning often to IDLES’ “Dancer”, and when the chorus goes “Collide us while we work it out”, I couldn’t help but picture their internal particles atop a silicone bed taking it personally and doing exactly that—quietly, relentlessly, and very much to our benefit."

HiFi Knights - AUVA EQMarch 2026

"I am very happy with the isolators. They are very nicely manufactured & finished. The felt pads/rings seem to entirely sufficient to protect my floor, allow the speakers to be easily manipulated into position and give the speakers adequate support & isolation.
As for the sound - the difference is immediately apparent. Rise & decay time of notes are much faster, everything is cleaner or clearer. Vocals seem to have an added degree of intelligibility. Bass notes are cleaner, tighter too.
I am currently listening to Bob Marley Exodus (the album) I decided to listen to this for bass quality but what has surprised me is the quality of the highs. The intelligibility of cymbals & highs of all kinds far surpasses anything I remember hearing on this album before.
One of the first impressions I got, along with the speed of rise & decay times, was that the music had lost a certain relaxed quality and gained a certain brightness or stridency, not enough to make it fatiguing but there nevertheless. Day two, and that impression has dissipated. I still have the added clarity but the impression of stridency has gone. It is not hard to make Leonard Cohen sound relaxed but nevertheless he sounds as relaxed as ever.
Ry Cooder’s paradise & lunch, played for Ry’s gorgeous guitar is now impressing me with the quality of the bass, much tighter & cleaner than I remember. The guitar sound is just pristine.
I have attached a photo of my little system. The diffusers behind the speakers are a recent addition, only a couple of months. What was there before it was a bit home made & made the sound a bit over damped.
With nothing behind, the sound, with anything but the simplest music, would be hopelessly confused.
I now get a proper wide, deep & high soundstage, within which, the isolators have added clarity.
Anyway, don’t want to go on too much, I’m very happy with the AUVA100."

"With the EQs in place, the image deepened considerably. Paul Chambers's bass moved to a specific position in space. Bill Evans's piano gained a rightward placement that the recording clearly intended but that had previously been somewhat vague."

HiFi Daydreaming - AUVA EQMarch 2026

"I am actually a fan of source first, but had to invest in sound treatment because the room produced too many standing waves. After installing the panels, I experienced an increase in spatiality in all dimensions and much more transparency, I had expected that, although not to the same extend. What was surprising was the increase in dynamics. I was totally happy with my sound.

In this situation, I ordered the AUVAs for my proAc D48R's. I wanted to know if spikes could possibly be surprassed. The concept sounded promising. This time, too, my expecations were exceeded. At a much lower price than my panels, the AUVAs had a comparable effect! More three-dimensionality, transparency and dynamics! No more vibrations from loose spikes and those dynamic tight basses! My dynamic Naim components now run on steroids! Addictive! Highly recommended."

Andreas H. - Switzerland

"So, to be honest on first impressions, I like the improvement but did wonder if it was enough given the cost, and would even say I may have considered a return to the Gaia's. I also had to take into consideration that I'd had to alter the speaker position slightly as AUVA 100's are much bigger than the Gaia's, but overall I like them but wasn't overly 'wowed' by them.

But, as in all things, time tells and as I had the chance to spend more time listening, then things seemed to gradually improve, building on the overall first 'OK/Good' impressions I had. So my current thoughts are, that the AUVAs really add a sense of space & depth (darker background) for the music to flow from. There is greater dimension overall and the tonal presentation is more refined.

I've also been able to hear more of a difference on a IC cable change I threw in for good measure."
